As someone with over ten years of experience in leading teams, I've delved deep into the realms of management, coaching, and agile methodologies. Throughout my journey, I've made it a point to challenge norms, question the usual ways of doing things, and create a space where uniqueness is celebrated. I believe that the best outcomes stem from teams that are diverse, work well individually but also come together seamlessly across functions, and are driven by a genuine passion for the solutions they create.

I have recently completed 2 years in the esports industry, where I worked on approximately 25 projects, starting as a Project Manager, then as a Project Director, managing up to 5 projects simultaneously and over 9 operations concurrently. Below, I intend to briefly outline some of the projects I have been part of during the last 2 years, offering a glimpse into my accumulated experience.

As my role in directing projects, the work I produce is intangible in nature. The projects showcased below are a culmination of the collective efforts of dedicated teams across various departments. While the spotlight shines on these projects as a representation of my work, it is important to acknowledge and appreciate the collaborative spirit and hard work put in by talented people in the local esports scene who brought these projects to life. Their creativity, expertise, and dedication are what shaped the success of these endeavors.

SAUDI ELEAGUE

My first steps into the esports world were taken right here, at SEL. So, for me, as for many others, SEL is considered my flagship project. Despite the initial challenges of grasping technical aspects, which my background could not support at the time, my adaptable skills helped me find my place quickly. Reflecting on it, I appreciate how it allowed me to engage both my task-oriented side and my creative, hands-on nature where attention to detail and high standards proved to be advantageous. But, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the people I worked with, being part of the broader group of individuals who contribute to shaping and developing the local scene.

From one season to the next, the creative team had a vison for the player walkouts. The assets have been refined and improved to establish a Hero image for the Players and Teams, securing them the center stage during their last walkout on the stage.

Make it Stand Out

I believe that trophies need to have the ability to inspire, make you want to compete not just for the thrill, the win, or posterity; but to inspire you to compete for "it". I have always been in awe of esports trophies, going beyond conventional, with angles and lines representing the battle and the competitive edge one must possess to compete. This is what inspires me every time I start with a new concept.
I try to stray away from the typical and conventional through the use of different material, shapes, elements. The growth undergone from the beginning until today can be observed in the development of each design from year to year.

2023 Esports Saudi Excellence Recap

Created as a tribute to the remarkable growth of esports in Saudi Arabia, the opening ceremony video for the SEF Awards 2023 stands as a visual chronicle of the industry's phenomenal milsetones throughout 2023. This video served as a homage to all major events, showcasing Saudi Arabia's leadership and achievements in esports over the year.

The music was thoughtfully selected to complement the video's style, and the audio from the footage was expertly integrated to enhance the overall experience. This captivating video opened SEF Awards 2023, honouring and celebrating excellence in esports.

For the purposes of this video, 73 individual achievements taken place in Saudi or by Saudis were researched and meticulously selected to synthesise this video’s final result.

ARAB ESPORTS LEAGUE

Arab Esports League first took place in 2022 as part of Gamers 8's first year. The concept behind this event was to bring together all Arab countries through esports on a grand scale at an annual gathering. As a first-time initiative, the challenge was to create something that would accurately reflect the magnitude of the concept it represented. The goal was to establish an identity for the event that wasn't solely focused on esports but instead on an event represented by official federations, where its brand and identity could embody that duality. Being one of my first projects outside of my main project, this was the venture where all the skills I had acquired were put to the test. This project marked the beginning of a process for me and my team to generate projects more quickly and methodically. The event was hosted for the second time in 2023, with the inclusion of African countries, and it was introduced as the Afro-Arab Esports League.

Logo & Branding Creation

For the creation of the logo we drew inspiration from the vibrant colours of the participant countries, infusing them into a captivating logo design. The semi-cycles in the logo symbolize the endless possibilities and growth potential of the league, representing unity and progress in the world of esports.
